Biography:
Christine Peterson was born at Papunya, Northern Territory. In 1998 she relocated with her family to Mt. Liebig, Northern Territory. It was at Mt. Liebig that Christine began to paint her dreamings which were taught to her by her mother, artist Topsy Peterson. These dreamings are associated with the land and sandhills surrounding the Papunya area. Christine Peterson is part of an illustrious painting family which includes her famous aunt, Lily Kelly Napangardi.
