Biography:

Cassandra Stewart is from Southern Arrente, located approximately 250 km south of Alice Springs.  Cassandra is the daughter of Wayne Stewart Tjupurrula, an established Aboriginal artist.  Cassandra grew up on a cattle station with her family.  Cassandra draws her inspiration from family stories, in particular from her famous aunt, Janet Forrester.
